The Ruggedly Fun 5k & 10k


Set against Laguna Lake with dramatic views of the coastal range and an overlook of historic downtown San Luis Obispo. This beautifully rugged trail race begins at Laguna Lake Park and circumnavigates Cerro San Luis.

The 6.2-mile course is laced with fun single track and fire road. With an elevation gain of over 1000 feet, this is no ordinary 10k.

New for 2011! Our 5k course gives the views of the city and the challenge of the trails in a smaller package.

Age Categories
Prizes run three deep in every age category, and grand prizes go to top male and female overall.

A portion of the run's proceeds benefit San Luis Obispo County's Special Olympics, who are dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition to more than 2.25 million people with intellectual disabilities worldwide.
